My passion for R/C started at a very young age well before I had ever seen a "real" R/C car. I started out with many cheap R/C from toy stores (not hobby shops). By the time I was 11 there was a local hobby shop that had an indoor oval carpet track for 1/10 scale electric cars, that is when I knew the difference between a real R/C and the toy store junk. I have been hooked ever since. I got my first real R/C to race on that oval track, it was an Associated RC10L from there I have had things like Clod Busters, Lunchbox, FX10, and tons others. The local hobby shop closed and over time those R/C became prehistoric to the newer versions with Brushless motors, RTR Nitro that can run over 80 mph and tougher parts that can take repeated beatings and keep on going. Now as an adult, I had discovered it was difficult to find people that shared the passion for R/C with the busy lifestyles of todays society. Off and on I had picked up an R/C here and there and could never get anyone else involved. In the spring of 2009, I purchased a Traxxas T Maxx 3.3 and started showing it to my friends in an attempt, once again to get people involved in R/C and this time it worked! Within weeks of showing it to my friends, they were at the hobby shops buying their first real R/C. Once people started getting involved I mentioned that I wanted to start my own R/C club, everyone thought it was a great idea. From that point, I created Team Insane RC Racing. After seeing how fast our club started to grow, I realized this could be bigger than just me and a couple of my buddies. This could be HUGE! So then I created a team logo and developed a website and filmed everything we did with our R/C so we could start to make our own DVDs to showcase our driving skills and to show others the capabilities and how to push the REAL limits of a R/C. So if you share that same passion as we do, no matter where you live, join our club Team Insane RC Racing as we become one of the largest R/C clubs ever.
